SCOPE NJ Assessment Procedures
Before we accept an invitation to investigate suspected paranormal activity, we'll require some essential background information. As a first step, we'll request that an interview be granted with the individual(s) seeking help. This may be done in person or by telephone. Generally, the interview takes less than an hour. We'll ask you to describe the approximate dates, times, and duration of the suspected paranormal activity along with an account of the phenomena witnessed and the persons who observed or experienced these events. After we've completed our interview(s), our team will convene to evaluate the information. If we agree that our assistance is required, the client will be contacted and final arrangements will be made for our team's visit.
Our No Fee Policy
Prospective clients are advised that SCOPE NJ does not charge for its services. We are a paranormal research organization that derives its satisfaction from helping others to effectively deal with the pressures associated with exposure to strange phenomena. We are also rewarded with the knowledge that we can contribute to the universal data base of paranormal research.
The Investigation Process
When our team arrives at the site, we'll ask the client to take us on a tour and point out the hot spots and locations where suspected paranormal activity has taken place. After the tour, equipment will be brought in and the members of the team will go about their respective assigned tasks. A typical investigation lasts about four to eight hours. During the investigation, our team will try to determine whether natural causes are responsible for some of the events witnessed by the client or other observers. Genuine paranormal experiences often create fear and anxiety, but so can undefined natural phenomena. In several of our cases we've been able to establish that some of the sounds, smells, and room temperature variations were caused by electrical, plumbing, or weather-related events.
Upon the completion of the on-site investigation, arrangements will be made with the client to host an exit conference wherein all evidence will be presented, discussed, and shared. If other measures are indicated, they will be detailed during the exit conference.
