Steve is the owner of a heating and
cooling business in New Jersey. Both he and
his wife, Michelle, share an interest in the paranormal. Steve has had alarming ghostly encounters that have aroused his interest in exploring the unknown. He is the architect
of a SCOPE investigation into the pinelands
of New Jersey to explore the habitat of the
Jersey Devil.

Michelle is VP of Information Security for a financial services firm. She has a BS in Information Technology and is a Certified Information Security Manager. Michelle grew up in a house where discussions and research pertaining to the paranormal were commonplace and became the foundation for her interest in ghosts and other unexplained phenomena. She assists investigations by helping to match equipment placement to active site locations.

Carol is a retired teacher with a special interest in all things paranormal. She is a keen observer and is sensitive to the presence of entities in buildings, cemeteries, and other haunted venues. A stickler for details, Carol painstakingly records baseline data and other pertinent information derived from SCOPE investigations.

Miss Molly
"ESP Specialist"

Molly is our official SCOPE NJ mascot. She has accompanied us on a few of our outdoor investigations where we've had ocular evidence of her ESP abilities. Her acute and expanded range of hearing and sight alert us to phenomena we can't normally perceive. When Molly's ears stand up and she stares intently in any given direction, it's a signal for us to train our cameras on her area of interest.

Tom is a retired educator with a deep interest in studying and investigating paranormal phenomena. Tom and his wife, Carol, have traveled throughout the United States and Europe and have visited a number of haunted sites and mysterious locales. They've experienced full-bodied apparitions, strange sounds, odors, cold spots, as well as the creepy sensation of being touched by invisible hands. On a lighter note, Tom also enjoys writing, gardening and wine appreciation. Some of his authored works have appeared in FATE and Weird New Jersey magazines.

Gary
Investigator

Gary is a general contractor and also in law enforcement in NJ. He has had an interest in the paranormal since childhood and has had many amazing experiences in his life. He brings to the team years of investigative experience as well as a working knowledge of building structure and mechanical components. Gary enjoys spending time with his wife Caroline and their two daughters and has a passion for classic muscle cars.

Ted
Videographer

Ted is a retired engineer and a wine/beer afficionado. His expertise has been reported
in a number of beverage magazines and newspapers. Ted also enjoys employing video and still photography to document a variety of subjects that include historic sites, family/friends gatherings, nature, and lately...the paranormal. He is currently building a video library of SCOPE NJ activities.

Sarah
Investigator

Sarah is a Promotions Coordinator for a business news television network. She is currently working towards a masters in Media Studies. Throughout her life, Sarah has always been interested in ghosts and ghost stories and has had numerous experiences with the paranormal. Most of Sarah's immediate and extended family members have had experiences with ghosts, and she feels, like them, she is sensitive to this phenomenon. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys traveling, watching television, following celebrity gossip, and investigating haunted places.

Ashley
Lorex Technician

Ashley's specialty is setting up and monitoring our Lorex remote camera system...one of the most important tools in our inventory. Besides a fascination
with the paranormal, Ashley's interests include theater arts, music, and reading.
She is also a certified life guard.

Dottie
Empath/Consultant

Dottie is a Faux Painter by trade and her creativity, imagination, and social conditioning have enhanced her empath abilities. Ever since she was a child, Dottie's paranormal experiences have left her questioning these incidents. Working with SCOPE has enabled her to better understand these phenomena.

John
Co-Founder and Consultant

A small business contractor by day, John provides valuable consultant services and occasionally joins the SCOPE team for select investigations. John's numerous paranormal experiences over the years have inspired him to co-found SCOPE. His other interests include paranormal research, wine appreciation, gardening, and raising prize chickens.

Stephanie
Case Manager/Investigator

Dee
Investigator

Stephanie is a Certified Court Administrator, legal secretary, and paralegal. Accordingly, she believes all claims of paranormal activity should be substantiated by solid evidence. She is a Wiccan and a "sensitive" who regards her quest for documented proof of the unexplained as almost her personal "religious crusade." She has had extensive experience as an administrator and investigator for another paranormal research team based in New Jersey and was responsible for obtaining trademarks for their logo and internet service.

Dee is a legal secretary in a law office during the day. She has three children and two grandchildren. She became interested in the paranormal at an early age due to a sequence of unexplainable events. This prompted her to conduct her own research and to enroll in classes that dealt with paranormal phenomena. She enjoys writing and is a volunteer for a veteran's organization where she contributes to their newsletter. She also enjoys music, sewing, crocheting, and reading.
